PlayWORLDS – Strong & Colourful Together

There's lots of fun to be had at PlayWORLDS but it's about even more than that! You'll discover how colourful and varied our world is and what we can do to make it a little better. Learn through play how we can take on responsibilities together - whether it be for children's rights, climate protection or diversity. You'll also meet a range of fascinating clubs and associations who will show you how to work together for a fairer society and collect stamps for you collector's pass.

An interactive weekend organised by the Berliner Entwicklungspolitische Bildungsprogramm (benbi) in conjunction with KATE e.V. and the FEZ Berlin.

Stage Programme

Look forward to a multi-faceted stage show with dance, circus and good vibes sure to get you on your feet and joining in. Toby is our presenter who will be guiding you through both days. So come along, show off your hidden talents and let's try out some cool moves together!

Environmental Protection

Investigate the cycle of various everyday objects, make toys out of bottle caps and learn UN sustainability goals while solving crossword puzzles. Send little robots on the way down streets to clear up rubbish and clear sandy beaches of bottle caps, plastic and other items of rubbish.

Healthy Eating

Play, research and snack on the topics of seasonality and local produce. Use fruit, vegtables and herbs to make amazing magic potions, make stick bread (Stockbrot) over the fire like your great great great great grandparents did and learn how bread is made - from grain to dough.

Living Together

How can we build a city where everyone gets along with each other? Draw your blueprint for a city of the future and build it from lego bricks. Make collages of our beautiful colourful world and let us know your ideas for a happy functioning neighbourhood on our speech bubble banner.

Cultural Diversity

Make your own dream catchers, learn traditional music and dances from Benin, play games from all over the world, explore the importance of biodiversity, and help create a space where everyone feels at home when you attend the Workshop of Kindness.

Children's Rights

Here you'll learn about the rights that you have a child as you go. Make your own superheroes or discover what your own superpower is. Write down your hopes and wishes for a fairer world and hang them on our wish tree.

A Spot Of Exercise

If the weather is good, then all the usual outdoor FEZ activitiy hotspots will be open. For example, you can bounce on the jumping pillows, ride on the pump track and play on the various climbing frames, playgrounds and obstacle courses.

Rest & Relaxation

Don't worry! We also have some cosy places for you to get comfortable and take a break. We have a selection of children's books from around the world for you to browse as well as a radio room where you can listen to a few episodes of "Grummpf und der Aufstand der Tiere".

Activitiy for adults

Why do we need to change our way of thinking when it comes to how we deal with raw materials? Why is recycling alone not enough? This exhibition from INKOTA presents important questions and answers regarding the need for a raw materials revolution.
