Dear FEZ Guests

We remain happy to see you in the FEZ Berlin. In order to continue, we need to adhere to the regulations together.

Please note that from 13th January 2022, all visitors to the FEZ over the age of 18 must also have a negative test (rapid test no older than 24 hours, PCR test no older than 48 hours) in addition to proof of vaccination or proof of recovery.

The requirement for a negative test does not apply to children under 6 years of age or for those who have had their booster vaccination.

These regulations apply to all weekend events, the swimming pool, the Astrid Lindren Stage, the Berlin State Academy For Music and all other events taking place in the FEZ.

These regulations have been devised in accordance with current requirements for Berlin as outlined in the Zweite Verordnung zur Änderung der Vierten SARS-CoV-2-Infektionsschutzmaßnahmeverordnung.

You Must Show The Following Documentation:

Correct as of: 14th January 2022

For people aged 18 and above:

  • Your ticket, which you have already bought online
  • Photo ID
  • Digital vaccination certificate or a vaccine pass showing full vaccination with a vaccine recognised by the EU that took place at least 14 days previously.
  • Proof of recovery from Covid-19 via a positive PCR test that is dated at least 28 days previously and is no older than 6 months. If the positive test is older than 6 months, proof of vaccination is required.
  • People who have been vaccinated twice and people who have proof of recovery also require a negative test. This must be no older than 24 hours in the case of a rapid test and no older than 48 hours in the case of a PCR test.
  • People who have received a booster vaccine do not require a negative test.
  • Those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons must have proof of a negative test in accordance with §6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 number 4 of the Infektionsschutzverordnung as well as medical confirmation that they cannot be vaccinated.

For children 6 or under:

  • Children 6 years or younger do not need a test as per the Infektionsschutzmaßnahmenverordnung

For children aged 7 and up (and under 18):

  • Children between the ages of 6 and 18 require a negative test no older than 24 hours.
  • (A pupil ID or a BVG pass for school pupils is not sufficient when showing proof of negative test.)

For youth (Hort) and school groups:

  • Youth (Hort) and school groups should be tested at school. The group leader should have proof of this ready at the entrance.
  • When booking events for school groups, the teacher will receive specific information about the hygiene regulations.

Visitors to the Astrid Lindgren Stage:

  • In addition to the entry regulations outlined above, the following also applies in the FEZ theatres:
Wearing an FFP2 mask is a requirement for everyone over 14 years of age. Children aged between 6 and 14 years may wear a medical mask. The requirement to wear a mask acquires for the duration of your visit, including when in your seat and when in an entry queue outside.
  • Detailed information about visiting the theatre is available here!

Data collection for tracking
We are required to collect your data in case there is a Covid-19 case. Please download the Luca or Corona apps if possible, so we only need to scan your QR code. If this isn't possible, we also have contact forms at the entrance.

Hygiene Regulations In The FEZ

  • An FFP2 mask is required at all times when inside the FEZ. The requirement to wear a mask applies to everyone over the age of 6 although children aged between 6 and 14 may wear a medical mask.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to grant entry to people who are exempt from wearing a mask on medical grounds, as there is too great a risk of Covid-19 transmission during our large events.
  • Adhere to social distancing - keep 1.5 metres apart and pay attention to the markings.
  • Be aware that some doors are only entrances or exits.
  • Avoid congregating in larger groups. If you find yourself in a large group, please move away and keep your distance.
  • Use all of the rooms in the FEZ when attending an event. Our staff can provide guidance about what's happening and where.
  • Avoid hugs and shaking hands.
  • Cough and sneeze into the crook of your arm.
  • Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly. Use the hand sanitiser stations at the entrance and toilets.
  • If you display symptoms such as a cough, a sore throat, fever or breathing issues, please stay home.

Thank you for understanding. We hope you enjoy your visit to the FEZ.
